Eine blume, die man noch nie gesehen hat, ein Loch im Boden oder etwas unerklärliches, sowie Christopher Columbus einen Kontinent. Und dann liegt hinter so einem Hügel plötzlich ein von einem dutzend Omis gestrickter Hase. Ein gigantisches unerklärliches etwas, daneben fühlt man sich klein, wie ein Gänseblümchen. Ein aus klopapierrosa Wolle gestrickter Hase liegt da auf dem Rücken. Ein Hasengebirge wie Gulliver in Lilliput. Und man läuft um ihn herum und kann nur lächeln. Glücklich fühlt er sich an, und man sich selbst geborgen; klettert die Löffel rauf, krabbelt über das Gesicht, fällt beinahe in den Mund, vom Bauch, der höchsten Stelle, sieht man über die ganze Hasenlandschaft: Arme, Beine, Ohren erstrecken sich bis zum Horizont, alles klopapierrosa kuschelweiche Hasenwolle, wie ein weggeworfenes Stofftier sieht er aus, wie ein vom Himmel gefallener Kontinent. Im Bauch ganz links hat er ein Loch, ein großes Loch, da schaut sein Herz heraus und Adern, Leber, Gedärm und Sehnen. Verliebt kriecht man den zerfallenden Leichnam hinunter, in die aus der Seite quellenden Schlingen. Kuschelt sich hinein in den wollenen Darm hinter das Herz, wie eine Made. Und wie das unschuldige Aas am Straßenrand, schenkt der Hase der Made Flügel. Den Hasennektar trinkend, schwebend, man glaubt zu fliegen, so glücklich macht der Hase.
